JOB PURPOSE:
The Administrative Assistant acts as the initial point of contact for NAPA's central office. A person in this position is responsible for greeting and interacting with customers and vendors who come into the office, and coordinating communication with various NAPA stores.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain good relationships with NAPA customers, vendors, and Store Managers.
- Answer phones, route calls and answer basic inquiries.
- Open and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Create and maintain accurate files.
- Assist store managers and employees with incoming questions.
- Input data and generate reports under direction from the Accounting Manager.
- Assist with elements of collections – research, data gathering and reporting.
- Assist and support administrative staff.
- Protect Dyna Parts by keeping information confidential.
- Help ensure the Central Office and Reception Area are kept neat and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Previous administrative or accounting experience preferred.
- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
- Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and aurally) and remembering their sequence.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
- Ability to sit for entire work shift.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
